adBlocks continues steady growth, announces four new hires

 

Kennebunkport , Maine , December 21, 2005--In preparation for further expansion into new media markets, adBlocks has bolstered its technical support department with a series of new hires. This expansion of its client services team will strengthen adBlocks' current position as the premier developer of workflow automation solutions for the advertising sales industry. With strong technical backgrounds and significant experience in various media sales organizations, these newest hires have expertise that allows each to make a valuable impact within the organization. They are vital to ensuring that adBlocks' will continue to provide its growing base of adSails customers with the industry-leading support they have come to expect.

 

Jill Dennison , a member of the adBlocks team since December of 2003, brings with her experience in technical support and communications. A graduate of Southern Maine Community College with a degree in Computer Technology, Jill has a solid technical understanding of networking infrastructure and software support. She spent many years working with adults with mental disabilities; this experience has given her with an outstanding ability to interact with others. She has worked in the support team of the ITS department at the University of New England and in her personal time enjoys teaching and developing her Yoga practice.

 

Kate Colpitts joined adBlocks in July of 2004. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine , Portland , with a BA in English and a minor in Art History. Kate brings to adBlocks four years of sales and marketing experience in the radio industry as a Sales Assistant and Local and National Sales Marketing Director. Prior to her radio experience, she worked for the local chapter of the American Red Cross as a Telerecruiter, Intern, then as a Blood Marrow Donor Drive Coordinator. While growing her varied professional career with adBlocks in Tech Support and Training, Kate has been labeled the adBlocks cribbage “extraordinaire” through her involvement with the Gritty McDuff's Cribbage Tournament.

 

Colleen Kennedy is a recent graduate of Endicott College , where she earned a BS in Communications with a concentration in Advertising. She started working in radio at the age of seventeen and has been involved with major-market radio stations in and around the Boston metro area. Her hands-on experience working with Account Executives in the radio industry, coupled with her background in developing marketing promotions, makes her an ideal fit at adBlocks. Colleen spends several nights a week as an on-air personality for a local radio station.

 

James Garfield , adBlocks' newest hire, is the second graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to jump aboard the client service team within the last two years. James graduated from RPI with a BS in Information Technology and a concentration in Web Systems. James' prior experience includes coding educational software designed to teach Inuit children about math as well as working in the IT Operations department at RPI. Beyond his life at adBlocks, James enjoys making wine and is adBlocks' resident technophile.
