Industry Veteran to Lead Product Development

KENNEBUNK, Maine, April 1, 2003 — Cable veteran Greg Born has joined adBlocks as a Senior Systems Engineer who will spearhead adBlocks’ major initiatives pertaining to new product development.

Born, formerly a Network Engineer with Adelphia Communications, has a long history of working with cable TV systems and MSOs. Born’s responsibilities will include the supervision of on-going product design for the next generation of adSails innovations.

Born has written software for billing systems, provided infrastructure design and management services, designed and implemented high-speed data products, and worked extensively with database conversion and implementation. “Greg brings a wealth of experience from a system design perspective,” said adBlocks president Michael Phelps, “and his operational experience complements the more than 30 years of combined cable advertising sales experience we currently have.”

Born is excited to be joining adBlocks as the company prepares to release a major redesign of its product interface. “Clearly adBlocks is the leader in providing solutions for streamlining the paperwork in complex cable operations. But what most attracted me to them was their constant innovation and commitment to improving on their platform to meet the future needs of the industry.” Born’s expertise in software design and human interface issues will make him a valuable addition to the adBlocks team.

adBlocks is the premier developer of workflow automation solutions for the advertising sales industry. Founded in 1994 in Kennebunkport, Maine, it numbers some of the largest media companies in the world among its client base.
